Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anesthesia Symposium

LifeLinc Academy is pleased to bring our innovative, hands-on symposium to Chattanooga, TN for the weekend of June 13th, 2020. Conference attendees will learn the latest techniques and skills needed in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia via cadaveric instruction and online learning.
Prior to arrival in Nashville, attendees will complete online learning modules with curriculum focusing on not only ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, but also peripheral matters that affect anesthetists in their day-to-day operations. In addition to USGRA, topics will include best billing practices, orthopedics and medical law.
The conference will feature a full day of cadaver-focused, hands-on instruction at UT Chattanooga's Anatomy Lab and will be led by LifeLinc Anesthesia's VP of Anesthesia Services and Education, Patrick Moss, CRNA, DNAP. The lab will feature both cadaver and live model stations, each facilitated by an expert in the field of ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia. All dissections will be done according to customized specifications geared towards regional anesthesia and neural anatomy.
Of the (6) stations, (3) will consist of un-embalmed cadavers. Of the (3) un-embalmed cadavers, (2) will remain unencumbered to preserve sonographic optimization during needling sessions. The remaining (3) stations will consist of live medical models for in-suite simulation-based live scanning. Two ultrasound machines will be available at each station.
Dissected cadaver stations will be as follows:

Cervical and Brachial Plexuses, Supine

Sacral Plexus, Posterior Trunk, Prone

Lumbar Plexus, Supine
Facilitator to participant ratios will NEVER exceed 1:7 to preserve small group intimate adult learning environments. Each participant will rotate through each station twice with the second rotation facilitated by a different facilitator in hopes of gaining additional practical hands-on knowledge. Rotation one will take place prior to lunch, and rotation two will take place after lunch.

Refund requests received by LifeLinc Academy less than 30 calendar days but not later than the end of the second business day prior to the course will be honored, subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds are available if not received by the end of the second business day prior to the course unless otherwise determined by LifeLinc for good cause shown.
