Stace Dollar, MS, CRNA

Stace D. Dollar CRNA, MS is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Baptist Health Lexington, in Lexington, KY. Mr. Dollar has been a board-certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) for 14 years, and prior to working at Baptist Health, Mr. Dollar provided anesthesia for cardiac patients at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. Mr.

 

Dollar’s achievements include: Co-founder of Thoroughbred Anesthesia Academy. Also, co-founding and co-directing an Acute Pain Service, development of regional anesthesia protocols for orthopedic joint replacements that improved patient outcomes and decreased length of stay. He spends a great deal of his time with the management of the Acute Pain Service which includes: inpatients and outpatients with peripheral nerve catheters, education of the team of CRNAs to provide safe ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, collaborate with surgeons and other health care professionals to manage acute pain. Mr. Dollar currently mentors CRNAs in ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks and catheter placement at an advanced cadaveric workshop in Nashville, TN. For two years, Mr. Dollar had the opportunity to travel to Haiti with MTSA and Touching Hands Project for a mission trip. While in Haiti, he was able lead an Acute Pain Service and teach MTSA students various Regional Anesthesia techniques. In January 2016, Stace, joined MTSA as adjunct faculty to help educate CRNAs in the management of acute surgical pain.

In addition to his professional duties, Mr. Dollar has enjoyed 14 years of marriage to his wife, Samantha, and they have three children. Mr. Dollar and his family live in Lexington, KY and attend Northeast Christian Church. He enjoys family, friends, vacationing, and golf.
